Club Information

Situated on 86 acres just west of Murray Bridge we are fortunate to be located in an area which has been zoned recreational. With a Motocross circuit some 3-4 kms to the east and an open range zoo to the north west the rest is very much open land. All this means that there is little likelihood of us being squeezed out by housing developments in the near future giving us a long term security of our flying venue.

Since taking over the field in 1994 AMA has made an enormous number of improvements to the property including the 150m long bitumen strip suitable for jet turbine use, new clubhouse, a six berth toilet with shower, children's compound with shelters and playground, a shaded pit area, lawn irrigation and an international standard control line circle.

The facilities have not only been developed for the flyer but also the family making it possible for the entire family to join in and enjoy a days outing. Children can be left safe in the compound/playground area while spectators can make use of the seating under the shelters with the kitchen offering cooking facilities and table and chairs.
